Oof! Just discovered that our short film had a similar scene to one in Armando Iannucci's 'Avenue 5' (great show, huge fan!). Ours is on left, Avenue 5 is on right. Not to worry, I cut it and found alternative scene using lots of B-roll. #Filmmaking #filmmakers #Avenue5  Our new comedy short just got accepted into the inaugural Okanagan Screen Awards! Very excited about this because it's led by a group of very dedicated and talented people! Sweet!
TBH, we're not going all out and trying to obtain as many laurels as possible. We're just going for a select few. We're not made of money people! So being accepted into the Okanagan awards is especially great for us. |
